A warm and lovely French family based in Chelsea is seeking an experienced and qualified maternity nurse to support them from end of June to mid-July. The role will be 3–4 nights per week, caring for a newborn baby.
Duties will include:
- Overnight care of the newborn
- Feeding support (bottle feeding and/or support with feeding routines)
- Nappy changing and settling the baby
- Establishing healthy sleep routines and day/night patterns
- Monitoring the baby’s wellbeing and development
- Supporting the parents with newborn care guidance and best practices
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment related to the baby’s care
- Helping establish a strong, calm foundation for the baby’s first weeks
Candidate requirements:
- Fully qualified maternity nurse with proven newborn experience
- Excellent, checkable references
- Calm, nurturing, and confident approach
- Able to work independently during night shifts
- French speaker is a bonus, but not essential
Salary: Dependent on experience (DOE)
