About the Family
A lovely family based in Parsons Green is looking for an experienced, energetic and professional nanny to care for their two boys, aged 2 and 4 years old, from the end of August.
The eldest will be attending school, while the youngest will be at nursery part-time. Both the school and nursery are within walking distance of the family home, making the daily routine straightforward.
The boys are bright, curious and full of energy. They love spending time outdoors and enjoy being active, but they also have a keen interest in books, arts and crafts, and learning through play. The family is looking for a nanny who will nurture their curiosity and support their development with engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Working Hours
- Monday: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm
- Tuesday: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm
- Wednesday: 12:00 pm – 6:30 pm (hours can be discussed)
- Thursday: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm
Total: 38 hours per week
Responsibilities
The nanny’s duties will include:
- School and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Providing full-day care for the youngest child.
- Planning stimulating indoor and outdoor activities.
- Supporting the children’s learning and development through play.
- Reading, creative activities, arts and crafts, and educational games.
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
- Managing the children’s laundry.
- Keeping the children’s bedrooms, play areas and belongings clean and organised.
- Light housekeeping duties related to the children only.
The family employs a cleaner, so no general housekeeping is required.
The Ideal Candidate
The family is looking for someone who is:
- Warm, energetic and engaging.
- Creative and passionate about children’s learning and development.
- Experienced with toddlers and preschool-aged children.
- Organised, proactive and reliable.
- Happy to spend plenty of time outdoors as well as planning educational indoor activities.
- Able to prepare nutritious meals for the children.
French or Mandarin speaking would be a bonus but is not essential.
