Part-Time Nanny / Housekeeper – Clapham South SW4

Salary: £23–£25 gross per hour (DOE)


Position Overview

A warm and welcoming family based in Clapham South is seeking an experienced and reliable part-time nanny / housekeeper to support the care of two girls aged 7 and 4 years old.

This is a long-term position suited to a proactive, organised, and caring individual who enjoys combining childcare with light household responsibilities in a busy but friendly family home.


Key Responsibilities
  • Morning routine support, including breakfast and school preparation
  • School drop-offs and collections (local school)
  • After-school care, including play, supervision, and activities
  • Organising engaging and age-appropriate activities
  • Children’s laundry and maintaining tidy children’s areas
  • General housekeeping duties related to the smooth running of the household

Hours

Term Time:

  • 6:00am – 8:15am (morning routine and school preparation)
  • 3:30pm – 6:30pm (after-school care)
  • Up to 5 additional flexible daytime hours for housekeeping duties

School Holidays:

  • Approx. 30 hours per week
  • Mix of full-day childcare and support around holiday camps

Requirements
  • Previous experience in both nannying and housekeeping roles
  • Strong spoken and written English
  • Organised, trustworthy, and proactive approach
  • Confident managing school-age children in sole charge or shared care
  • Driving licence preferred
  • Available to start in July or August 2026
