Position Overview
A warm and welcoming family based in Parsons Green is seeking an experienced, native English-speaking after-school nanny to care for two children.
This is a long-term position suited to a caring, proactive, and highly organised nanny who is confident managing after-school routines, supporting development, and creating a calm and structured environment.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, reliable, and able to take initiative while providing consistent and nurturing care.
Key Responsibilities
- School pick-up and after-school care for two children
- Supporting homework and early learning development
- Organising engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Preparing healthy snacks and simple meals for the children
- Escorting children to local activities and playdates
- Maintaining routines, structure, and positive behaviour guidance
- Keeping children’s areas tidy and organised
- Light child-related housekeeping (school items, laundry, organisation)
Hours
Typical after-school schedule (to be confirmed with the family):
- Monday to Friday, approximately 3:00pm – 7:00pm
- Additional hours available during school holidays
Requirements
- Native-level English speaker (essential)
- Previous experience in a similar after-school nanny role
- Strong references from previous families
- Confident supporting school-age children
- Organised, proactive, and reliable approach
- Warm, engaging, and emotionally intuitive personality
- Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
- Paediatric First Aid certificate preferred
