A lovely family based in Kensington is looking for an experienced and reliable Housekeeper/Cook to join them from September. The role can be filled by one person or split between two candidates.
Location: Kensington, London
Days: Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Hours: 5 hours per day, anytime between 8 am–3 pm
Housekeeper: £24 gross per hour
Cook only: Up to £30 gross per hour, depending on experience, with flexible afternoon hours
The ideal candidate
- Reliable, organised and attentive to detail
- Experienced working in private households
- Confident providing high-standard housekeeping
- An excellent cook, particularly comfortable preparing spicy dishes from South Asian and Mexican cuisines
- Able to prepare healthy, flavourful and non-oily meals
- Comfortable organising weekly meal plans according to the family’s preferences
- Happy to prepare fresh meals for the same evening rather than batch cooking
- Discreet, proactive and able to work independently
