FRENCH-SPEAKING AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY

Petit Monde Agency is looking for a hands-on, responsible and reliable French-speaking Nanny for a lovely family based in Marylebone.

The nanny will mainly care for the two older boys, aged 3 and 5, while working alongside another nanny who looks after their 7-month-old baby.

Location: Marylebone, London
Children: Two boys, aged 3 and 5
Days: Monday to Friday, or 4 days per week
Hours: 3:00pm–7:00pm
Salary: £22–£24 gross per hour, depending on experience
Start: ASAP
Fluent French: Mandatory
Driver: A bonus, not essential

THE ROLE

The boys attend an English school in Notting Hill and have an excellent understanding of French. Their mother speaks French with them at home, and the eldest can already read in French.

The nanny will be responsible for managing their after-school routine and continuing to encourage their French through conversation, reading, homework and play.

MAIN DUTIES

School pick-up in Notting Hill by bus or taxi

Organising activities, clubs and playdates

Supporting homework and reading

Encouraging French language development through conversation and play

Preparing and supervising dinner

Managing the bath and evening routine

Managing after-school logistics

Working closely with the family’s other nanny

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The family is looking for a reliable, responsible, proactive and hands-on nanny with previous professional childcare experience.

Fluent French is essential. The ideal candidate will be engaging with the children, confident managing their routine and comfortable working as part of a supportive nanny team.

A driver would be a bonus but is not essential.
