Petit Monde Agency is looking for a bright, reliable and engaging French-speaking university student to provide regular homework support to a Year 8 (5ème) student attending the CFBL (Collège Français Bilingue de Londres).
The student is doing well academically and achieves good grades. The family is looking for someone who can provide consistent academic support, help with homework, reinforce concepts covered at school and encourage good organisation and study habits.
Location: Hampstead Heath, NW3
Schedule: 1–2 sessions per week
Days: Monday and/or Wednesday
Hours: From 5pm, approximately 1 to 1.5 hours per session (until 6pm/6:30pm)
Position: In-person only – no online tutoring
Start: ASAP
The ideal candidate will be a French native speaker currently completing higher education in London, with an excellent level of English.
A strong academic background is essential, particularly in Mathematics and Science. A French Baccalauréat with a scientific specialisation (Bac S or equivalent scientific pathway) would be highly desirable.
The tutor should be confident supporting the student across different subjects, particularly Mathematics and Science, while also helping with homework, organisation, revision and general academic development.
The family is particularly interested in university students currently studying at LSE, King’s College London or another leading London university.
The ideal candidate will be academically strong, patient, organised, reliable and able to explain concepts clearly and engage positively with a secondary-school student.
This is not a remedial tutoring position. The student already achieves good results, and the family is looking for a tutor who can provide high-quality, consistent academic support and help the student continue to progress throughout the school year.
To apply, please send your updated CV to info@petitmonde-agency.com, including details of your current university studies, previous academic background and availability on Mondays and/or Wednesdays.
