THE ROLE
The family is looking for a reliable, nurturing and proactive nanny who genuinely enjoys working with young children and has a strong understanding of babies, toddlers and early-years development.
The nanny should be confident planning the little girl’s day independently, including age-appropriate activities, classes, outings, meals and rest times, while providing a stimulating and nurturing environment.
DUTIES
• All standard nanny duties
• Planning educational, creative and age-appropriate activities
• Supporting physical, emotional, social and language development
• Taking the child to local playgroups, classes, parks and libraries
• Encouraging learning through play, reading, singing and conversation
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks
• Supporting the child’s daily routine, including naps and mealtimes
• Children’s laundry and keeping her bedroom and play areas organised
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have strong professional experience with babies and toddlers and a genuine interest in child development.
The family is looking for someone warm, caring, reliable and proactive who can take initiative and confidently organise the little girl’s day.
Right to work in the UK and excellent references are essential. An up-to-date DBS and paediatric first aid certificate are highly desirable.
