A lovely French family who have recently relocated from Paris to London is looking for an experienced, warm and reliable After-School Nanny to care for their two children, a girl aged 2.5 and a boy aged 6.
The family is looking for a long-term nanny who can become a trusted and consistent presence in their children’s lives. Their previous nanny remained with them for five years, so finding someone who is genuinely looking for stability and continuity is particularly important.
Working Hours
Monday: 3:15pm–7:00pm
Tuesday: 3:15pm–7:00pm
Wednesday: 1:00pm–7:00pm
Thursday: 4:15pm–7:00pm
Friday: 3:15pm–7:00pm
During approximately 7–9 weeks of school holidays per year, the nanny will be required to work approximately 8:30am–7:00pm.
There is also the possibility of an additional 2–3 hours per week for light housekeeping if the nanny would like extra hours. This is completely optional and is not a requirement of the position.
The Role
The nanny will take responsibility for the children’s after-school routine, creating a warm, structured and enjoyable environment for them.
Duties will include helping with homework, preparing healthy meals for the children, managing bath time, taking them to the park and organising engaging, educational and age-appropriate activities.
The family follows a caring, respectful and fair approach to parenting and would like a nanny who shares these values while also being confident in setting appropriate boundaries and providing consistency.
The Ideal Candidate
The family is particularly interested in a mature, experienced and dependable nanny with strong previous experience caring for children of similar ages.
The successful candidate should be proactive, organised and engaging, with the confidence to manage the different needs of a toddler and a school-aged child.
A more senior and highly experienced candidate can be offered up to £24 gross per hour, with the salary starting from £22 gross per hour, depending on experience.
The nanny must have a good level of spoken English.
