A lovely family based in Fulham, SW6 is looking for an experienced, organised and reliable Afternoon Nanny to care for their two boys, aged 6 and 8.
The family is looking for someone confident with school-aged children who can take ownership of their after-school routine and provide a calm, structured and consistent environment.
Working Hours
The core working hours are Monday to Thursday, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
The family would also appreciate some flexibility for ad hoc Fridays and occasional babysitting.
Earlier or additional hours may be required during the school holidays, subject to prior agreement.
The Role
The nanny will take responsibility for the boys’ after-school routine, including school pick-ups and managing school transport arrangements.
The children attend activities such as football and tennis, so the nanny will help coordinate their activities and ensure their afternoon schedule runs smoothly.
Responsibilities will also include supporting the boys with homework, spelling and reading, preparing and organising their dinner, managing their bath or shower routine, and keeping school bags, uniforms and children’s belongings organised.
General tidying relating to the children will also form part of the role.
The Ideal Candidate
The family is looking for someone highly organised, proactive, reliable and punctual who is confident caring for school-aged children.
The nanny should be warm and caring while also being naturally authoritative, with the confidence to maintain clear and consistent boundaries.
Someone practical and hands-on who can work independently, anticipate what needs to be done and take ownership of the children’s routine would be particularly well suited to the family.
Flexibility for occasional Friday work and babysitting would be greatly appreciated.
French-speaking would be welcome but is not essential. The family is open to candidates from different backgrounds, with experience, reliability, organisation and confidence being the main priorities.
